Unlike polyester or nylon tents that trap heat and degrade under UV rays, canvas is naturally breathable, UV-resistant, and significantly more durable. These tents regulate temperature—keeping you cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter—while offering a sustainable, lifelong investment that develops character over years of use rather than ending up in a landfill after a few seasons.

For Large Families (5–9 people): The Avalon Bell Tent (20') or the Alpha Wall Tent (16'x24') offer massive footprints with room for multiple queen beds and living gear.

For Mid-Sized Families (3–5 people): The Altimus (14') or Prota Cabin Tent are favorites because of their vertical walls, allowing everyone to stand up comfortably and move around without feeling cramped.

Absolutely. All White Duck tents (except the 8' Regatta Mini) come standard with a pre-installed, heat-resistant silicone stove jack. This allows you to safely integrate a wood-burning stove, turning your tent into a heated sanctuary even in sub-freezing temperatures. The heavy-duty canvas acts as a natural insulator, holding in the heat from your stove far better than thin synthetic materials.

The beauty of White Duck canvas is its longevity, and maintenance is simpler than you’d think. The most important rule is to never store your tent while it’s damp. Always ensure the canvas is bone-dry before packing it away to prevent mold. Beyond that, a simple rinse with water to remove dirt and an occasional re-treatment with a water-repellent spray (after several years of heavy use) is all it takes to keep your tent in "heirloom" condition for decades.

100%. Any Roam Ready purchase will be backed by the manufacturer's warranty, protecting your purchase from defects in materials or workmanship and it starts immediately after delivery. Any product or any component of the product found to be defective will be repaired to working order or replaced with the same or similar model without charge, at our expense (provided the delivery address is in the lower 48 states of the US). Please be sure to keep the original sales receipt and send us a copy if you wish to repair or exchange a purchased good. The customer will be solely responsible for the delivery and shipping charges.

Disclaimer: Defects are limited to those resulting from the manufacturing process or production errors (stitches and waterproofing), and exclude:

Holes, punctures, ordinary wear & tear
Damage arising from (but not limited to) mold, mildew, inconsequential spot leakage, ultraviolet exposure, fire/stove/air conditioner use (to limit the likelihood of mold & mildew, we would advise not setting your tent up under trees for an extended period of time, and never storing away your tent when it's wet or damp)
Other damages that may occur during improper or negligent use/assembly/storage of the product, bad maintenance, use contrary to instructions (not following the proper procedures)
Damage from repair, modification or alteration by anyone other than White Duck Outdoors
If the item has been damaged on purpose
Damage from extreme weather conditions including but not limited to ice, snow, hail, wind, and lightning or any other catastrophic events.

NOTE: Your tent is built from best-in-class materials and boasts a superior construction to tents from almost any other store. However, your tent is not meant to be used as a permanent shelter, left up year-round or left unattended. All of these situations will be considered "negligent use" and will not be covered under warranty.
