I believe road trips are some of the best memories you can make in a lifetime. They’re where the stories you tell down the line happen: the spontaneous detours, the scenic pull-offs, the campfire nights, and the kind of “you remember when...?” moments you still think about years later.

Planting the Dream
This dream started on a road trip I took in 2024, driving over 6,000 miles from Texas to Oregon. Along the way, I crossed 7 states and visited 9 national parks — and it was undoubtedly unforgettable.
But I also realized something...I was leaving experiences on the table by settling for hotels and Airbnb's instead of overlanding under the stars. Other times, I felt limited by space (the car is cramped as it is after so many miles!) and wished I could carry smarter, better gear — the kind of gear that would’ve let me hit up an extra lake or two, or the kind of gear that I could trust 100% to go off-grid with, or even just the gear that would provide a new breathtaking view as each morning came.
I kept thinking: There is more to this experience. There is untapped potential in an elite road trip.
That trip didn’t just give me memories — it gave me a mission: build a store that helps road trippers travel more freely, more confidently, and with a setup that makes the journey just as good as the destination.

Trips Were Meant for Pets
Upon designing this store, I knew there were people like me. I plan too many roadtrips that I can't bring my pup on because I just didn't have the gear to do it! I’m a road tripper and a dog person, so how do I make both happen? I once heard, "We often forget this is their only life too and it is too short to leave them at home." Though I selfishly can't remember who said it, it's stuck with me for years and I can't agree more. I have a golden retriever, and I know firsthand how important it is to bring these wonderful companions along for the ride. Even more importantly, to travel with gear that keeps your vehicle cleaner, your dog safer, and your trip less stressful.
That said, pets aren’t the whole brand — they’re simply part of the way we curate.
