vehicle compatibility
The Wingman 1.0 is universally compatible with pickup trucks due to the chassis that comes included with the Wingman. However, mounting kits for same size truck beds may vary. Standard mounting brackets are currently available in the U.S. market for the following models:
- Ford F-150 (5.5 ft)
- Ram 1500
- Toyota Tundra
- Toyota Tacoma
- GMC Sierra
- Jeep Gladiator
- Ford Ranger (5 ft)
Note: Custom brackets may be required for other truck bed configurations.
operational guidelines
Wind Resistance: When fully closed, the tent maintains the same wind resistance level as the original vehicle. When fully deployed (without side awning), it withstands winds up to Level 6 (11-14m/s). With the side awning open, poles extended, and guy ropes secured, it withstands winds up to Level 4 (6-8m/s). The Wingman is not recommended for use in extreme weather conditions such as strong winds or heavy rain.
Water Resistance: The outer layer is 100% waterproof with seam-taped stitches. The inner layer has standard water resistance, but because the connection to the truck bed is not fully sealed, it is not 100% waterproof. Light seepage may occur in the truck bed during rain or snow, so we recommend using a rain cover or additional protective materials for items requiring complete waterproofing.

What If my truck model isn't listed?
Because the Wingman bolts onto the chassis (and the chassis clamps onto the truck), you aren't drilling holes into your actual truck bed. This allows a one-size fits all... almost.
